Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bring Real Independence to the People of Botswana

After being introduced to the Scientology Handbook by the Africa Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour, Pastor Solomon is using the technology to help his parishioners.

The African Scientology Volunteer Minister Goodwill Tour is currently in southern Botswana, where local residents have been getting training in the technology contained in the Scientology Handbook, and have set up their own local Scientology Volunteer Minister groups in the city of Gaborone and in the village of Mochudi.

A Scientology Volunteer Minister who has been trained by the Goodwill Tour recently delivered two study workshops in local schools in Mochudi, Botswana. These workshops were very successful, the students there are now eager to learn things they could not grasp before. One of the teachers has now enrolled on the Study Course at the Volunteer Ministers' center.

A young artist came to the tent a few weeks ago, she was doing poorly in life and did not know why. But by taking ''The Cause of Suppression'' course, based on one of the many chapters of the Scientology Handbook, she was able to spot that some of her "friends" were deliberately undermining her. Before the course she had not realized that they did not have her best interests in mind. Knowing who her real friends are now she is doing much better in life.

In his 1976 essay Religious Influence in Society, Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard wrote, "A Volunteer Minister does not shut his eyes to the pain, evil and injustice of existence. Rather, he is trained to handle these things and help others achieve relief from them and new personal strength as well."

Armed with the effective technology of the Scientology Handbook, Scientology Volunteer Ministers are helping their fellow man every day, all over the world.

Mr. Mbambo, who has trained as a Scientology Volunteer Minister gives a seminar in study technology to children at a local school.
